Founder's Message

Welcome to Grace Prepaid Legal

As founder of Grace Prepaid Legal Group, Inc. (“Grace”),* I would like to attribute our work first and foremost to the grace of God and His Son Jesus Christ, and secondly to our family, employees, and friends.

I started Grace with the hope of providing equal access to the legal system to as many people as possible, regardless of financial status and despite many of the natural barriers that separate people from achieving justice. This is the goal of Grace, and it is our daily, abiding mission.

Although I did not know it at the time, Grace had its beginnings in 1975. As an immigrant escaping the communism and hopelessness wrought by the Fall of South Vietnam, I was struck by God’s love and generosity as manifested by American friends who took our family in and welcomed us to a new country and a new life. Since that time, I have felt God’s generosity again and again - both personally and professionally. This is precisely why, over the years, I have always felt very thankful, blessed, and proud to be able to help others in need. I view it not just as my purpose, but also God’s.

With Grace, I believe that purpose reaches its ultimate expression. With Grace, we have an opportunity to bring access to justice for more people, regardless of the size of their cases or the size of their wallet, with each family paying a predictable, modest monthly amount. With pooled resources, we are able to pull together.*

One of the primary benefits of membership is unlimited phone calls to seek professional advice on many legal issues you face. In addition, other valuable legal services are also covered, as specified in your Membership Service Agreement.

If you need to consult with an attorney, simply call your Provider Attorney at the telephone number on your membership card.

Who is your Provider Attorney. The law firms are selected based on their professional experience, and, most importantly, their caring service. Provider Attorneys are members of independent law firms and exercise independent professional judgment to pursue the interest of our members. You will receive personal attention, care and respect.

I believe a structure is only as strong as its foundation. With Grace, the foundation is you, the hard work of many people, and, most importantly, the will of our Creator. It is for this reason that I am so proud of Grace, and of what we all continue to build together. As Mother Theresa once said, “God is [still] in love with us and keeps giving Himself to the world - through you - through me . . . . May [we] continue to be the sunshine of His love to [our] people and thus make [our] life something truly beautiful to God.”

The legal services contract is designed as a means to make future legal services, if needed, more affordable. After you become a subscriber to the prepaid legal services plan, you will be put in touch with a Provider Attorney and depending on your legal services plan, the Provider Attorney will give you advice and/or legal services.
